How long have you been together? The band has been around for 5 years but the current lineup is fairly new.
Describe the music you play? Chambered is a thick, chunky rock and roll blend with a healthy dose of down home charm. Founded in 1999 , Chambered has developed a simple philosophy in the songwriting process: to make people groove. The music has all the pure power, intensity, and drive that audiences have come to expect from four blue collared gentlemen who know how to get the job done.
What C.D.'s do you have out? we are currently working on our first full length CD. To be out in March of 05.
Recent and up coming tours? We are always playing shows all over the East coast.
Why should we check you out, what makes your band stand out? Chambered rocks crowds with a sound that combines elements of old school hard rock with cutting edge creativity. The live shows are energetic, hard hitting, and professional. This group loves nothing more than getting fans excited, and does so with an onstage charisma that rivals many national acts.
When will you be in N.C. again? Nov. 26th, at The Soapbox in Wilmington.
What band inspired you or the members of the band?? The vocals and guitars draw from the inspiration of touring bands like Metallica, Helmet, Slipknot, Tool, and the Deftones, while also paying homage to the tried and true principles expressed by legends such as Hendrix, Zeppelin, Lynrd Skynrd, Alice Cooper, and Black Sabbath. Chambered's rhythm section drives home this awesome combination with steady, punching drum patterns and airtight basslines that always leave the masses begging for more.
Who if anyone do you tour with? Mostly alone but we have opened for many national acts.
Any intresting facts about your band funny stories etc.....
-Bobby Hamilton won an endorsement from Jackson guitars by winning a contest at Ziggy's in North Carolina.
-While the band was enjoying mixed beverages after a recent show and video shoot at club seho in NYC, the club was raided by the NYPD for serving minors. The band members made it out without incident, and proceeded to the nearest irish pub.
