Chameleo is one man by the name of Jan Bjorsland from the land of the fjords, Norway.
We're talking classy modern pop with a touch of midwest rock and AOR where names like Morten Abel, Babel Fish, Kurt Nilsen comes in mind when I listen to "Ready to live".
This type of dreamy singer/songwriter rock really appeals to me coz Jan has a beautiful voice and when he writes songs like the title track that could've been featured on any Taxiride cd or the opening track "It's okay" that smells A-ha for miles - I surrender.
Well, Chameleo is hardly original but when you need something for your long drive in the car - this album will do just fine!

Bio

The wind swept land of Norway has created great explorers like Roald Amundsen, Thor Heyerdahl and Leif Ericson . . . people with enough creative desire to expand the boundaries of their times.
Now, from Oslo, comes a new creative talent. Chameleo, singer, songwriter and talented musician, started playing piano at the age of ten. By the time he was in his twenties, the tall, dark performer had caught the ear of famous Norwegian producer Anders Moberg from Goldmine Music, with amazing results.

The resulting EP won a number of contests, including ones sponsored by the biggest radio stations in the country. Feedback was tremendous, so the pair returned to the studio to record an album of hit material and the album became a reality 6 months later. All the expenses have beeen paid by the artist himself.

Chameleo, whose influences include Matchbox 20, Counting Crows, Joshua Kadison and The Calling, writes rock/pop tunes that are accessible enough to appeal to a massive audience, with lyrics about everyday life problems and joys that audiences can relate to.

The record-buying public has proven their love of music from Northern Europe (ABBA, Ace of Base, The Cardigans, Bjork and A-ha) as well as piano-driven rock like Coldplay.

All the ingredients are in place:

1 The right time
2 The right sound
3 The right looks
4 The right attitude
5 The right management....

....to make Chameleo a highly profitable investment, musically and financially.
