CHAMELEON WORLD: "More Than A Band...It's A World!"

Ray St. Ray, THE SINGING CAB DRIVER, writes songs as he drives, singing them to passengers for their entertainment and to promote CHAMELEON WORLD, "More than A Band...It's A World!", which exists for the purpose of performing this music on stage for a larger audience to experience.

We're all symbiotes.

CHAMELEON WORLD will soon celebrate it's 20th anniversary. It began as friends backing up Ray for a New Years Eve party, then developed into various incarnations as a cover band, Talking Heads tribute band, hybrid original/cover and eventually the extravaganza it is now.

A Chicago based performance art band, CHAMELEON WORLD plays all original music in a variety of styles leaning toward pop, rock, jazz, show tune and movie soundtrack compositions.

Basically it is happy, snappy, uptempo music for people who can still think and hear, or at least dance. Many of the songs tell stories and shows tend to be theatrical.

In 2010 they released their first CD album: BETTER THAN LIFE.
