CHAMITO

Passenger in this World and in Time.
A venezuelan singer and composer that grew up surrounded by the popular traditions of the Carribean. His lyrics translate his vision of a world filled with feelings, dreams and illusions, into music.
Chamito is energy and good vibration on stage, a singer that since 2006 lives in Barcelona, Spain. During his career he had the opportunity to record three albums:
In 2007 he records his first (self-produced) album that was named "Despierta" (it was distributed only in the underground circuit of Barcelona). Important collaboration to this cd was that of Amparo Sánchez in the song "Se cae la tierra".
After touring in different venues in Barcelona, Alicante, Castellón de La Plana and Valencia, Chamito paused his musical production in order to travel through Latin America. Starting from his native Venezuela and passing through Mexico and Cuba, this voyage was the inspirational
point to determinate his second album named "La Ofrenda" in 2011, produced by Kasba Music (Barcelona).
In it is obvious the great influence that was for him his having been to Mexico: its colors, odors, streets and traditions became the energy that led to his next tour through Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland and Russia. This tour determined Chamito as a frontman, as he had
the opportunity to demonstrate his capacity to connect with the public, to give away pure energy and happiness and to make the public dance to his rhythm. One of the most important moments of this tour was when in July 2012 he opened Manu Chao´s concert in Nimes, France.
During 2012, Chamito collaborated with Amparo Sánchez and Gerard Casajús in the production of his third album named "Cada Mañana", an album with Caribbean influences and inspiring lyrics that include
messages of love and hope. This cd is also filled with important collaborations from various well known artists of Catalonia. The first few promotional songs have already been aired in radios in different countries around the world.
For this summer/autumn of 2013 is being prepared the "Cada Mañana" official presentation tour with participations in different european and south american festivals and venues.
