Champagne Breakfast

Champagne Breakfast

BandRockAlternative

We are a blend of 70's hard/ progressive rock, 90's grunge-alternative and indie rock. We are radio-friendly and cutting edge, a feat in itself. We put on excellent shows and have over 4 hours of original and cover material. Registered member of ASCAP.

Biography

Champagne Breakfast, as currently constructed, has been together since June of 2007. Since then, they have been a featured artist in Cheyenne's Wyoming Brewer's Festival and Frontier Days and in Ft. Collins' Bohemian Nights/ New West Festival. We are releasing our 5 song EP at the beginning of March 2008. The band's major influences are: Steely Dan, Tool, Radiohead, Rush, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floys, Led Zeppelin, Stone Temple Pilots and Weezer. There are many things that separate Champagne Breakfast from its peers. First and foremost, Kurt Humann has a one in a million voice and he couples that with extraordinary songwriting ability. Second, but just as important, is the musicianship. While the band could be described as radio-friendly, they haven't lost sight of the artistry involved in producing music. It is rare, especially now, to have both the talent for writing songs with mass appeal and having top-notch musicians delivering the music. Finally, the shows are intense. There is some serious firepower on stage. All 4 band members know how to entertain the general audience as well as the musicians in the crowd. If you aren't hooked on the band after hearing them, you certainly will be after seeing them.

Discography

We have a 5 song CD in production now. Four of the five songs are streamed on myspace, ursession, hittmusicgroup, and bebo. Local radio has begun picking up a few songs: One Car Garage, The Best For You and Seventeen.
