More than just a rapper, Champ Jitta is an entertainer who loves to entertain. It’s in his blood! The only thing that comes close is his love for vintage cars, sports and of course . . . the ladies. If asked why he chose to become a rapper he'll quickly answer "because its what I was born to do, it fun, and I love to strut my stuff for the ladies."
No doubt when the opportunity presents itself, Champ Jitta will become a phenomenally known entertainer! Pondering his chosen name one could conclude he ranks himself among the greatest of the great. Hearing and seeing him in action quickly dispels any doubts that he isn't a champ-pion among rappers!
Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on March 15, 1987, Champ Jitta has lived in and around Atlanta, Georgia since the age of six. He started rapping and performing with a local Atlanta Rap Group “Troubled Soulz in 1987. This Nine-member group consisted of two of his brother, one sister, one cousin and four close childhood friends three of which are brother. When the group dispelled around 2007 Champ decided to strike out on his own.
Champ Jitta has performed at: Club Vibes, Club Alize, Club Miami, The Crows Nest, Prime Time, The Cave, The Peacock, The Sweet Auburn Festival, and Turner Field’s Hosea Feed The Hungry in Atlanta, GA. He also performed at the 2009 Core DJ along with popular artists Pastor Troy, Bone Crusher, Akon and the Back Street Boys. Traveling performances include Tennessee, the Carolinas, Miami, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, FL.
