CHANCE

A native from Buffalo, New York, Chance started to rap in 2001 at the urging of his best friend Geoff, who thought he should put his poetry to music. And this is where it all began.

With his parents in and out of his life as a child, Chance was raised by his grandmother. At the young age of seven months Chance was flown by life flight to Children's Hospital in Buffalo, New York. He was in a Diabetic coma. His heart stopped beating three times during that flight! It was then when he was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes.

In 1996 Chance was in a head-on car accident where he broke his sternum. Again, in 1998 he was in another car accident. In this accident he was rear ended, hit head-on and sent across lanes of on coming traffic. Chance should not have walked away from that accident. But he DID! And, this is where he got his name: CHANCE. He believes that he has been given many chances in life!

Chance has a wide fan base, and his fans come from all walks of life. Ranging in ages from as young as five-years-old to almost sixty. Chance writes all his lyrics, and everything comes from his OWN life experiences. He only writes about what he feels he can relate to. What sets him apart from other rappers is his beats. CHANCE raps over classical beats. He brings a hip-hop feel with a more classical and complex melody or rhythm. He is not so much focused on the party aspect, but like to bring in real life situations that many others can relate to.
Chance has been working with Outer Limit Recording Studio in Buffalo, NY since 2001. He is currently working on his debut album scheduled for release this summer!
