Biography

I'm a 15 year old new country singer songwriter. I've been performing since I was 5. My first solo was Silent Night sung in my pajamas at the school Christmas concert. Since then I've added both songs and clothes to my repertoire. My parents say they knew I could sing at the age of 2 when they caught me singing along with Shania Twains "I Feel Like a Woman"...with feeling! I've been writing and performing some of my own songs since I turned 12. I love singing meaningful songs and sharing those emotions with my audience.

I live in the Vancouver BC lower mainland and have been performing at many of the summer outdoor festivals for the last 4 years including Merritt Mountainfest, Coquitlam Blue Mountain Festival, White Rock's Spirit of the Sea, Newton Days, Whalley Days, Ocean Park Days and the Campbell Valley Country Celebration.

I also like to give back to the community so I perform as part of the Raveon Roadshow which has artists perform at homes for disabled adults who have difficulty getting out to regular venues. I've met lots of great people doing this event over the past 2 years (I may have even found the President of my future fan club!!)

I love to write whether it's songs or stories and so I keep a blog on my website.

My influences include lots of country artists like Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Sugarland etc. and also classic rock such as Brian Adams and Bon Jovi!

Verse 1:
Some Days are harder and those days get longer
Couldn’t believe your time came so fast.
Hard to tell the present from the past
Sometimes life, just isn’t fair
It breaks us down, because we care.

Chorus:
But don’t worry you’re not gone
You’re still here, you live on in my song
You keep our hearts strong, you keep us holding on.
You’ll never leave us
Your memory will live on.

Verse 2:
Keep looking forward don’t look back
I won’t forget all the times we had
Your blue eyes, the colour of your hair
I won’t forget everything we share
People say life isn’t fair
It breaks us down, because we care

Repeat Chorus:

Bridge:
Life teaches lessons we’ll never forget.
We keep on learning until there’s nothing left

But don’t worry you’re not gone
You’re still here, you live on in my song
You keep our hearts strong, you keep us holding on
You’ll never leave us,
Your memory will live on

Verse 1:
We’re always talking about, where we want to go
Just get out of this town, find a one way road.
So here’s our chance, to leave this all behind.
Let’s go anywhere, the choice is yours and mine

Chorus:
The road is open, the path is wide
We’ll get where we’re going if it takes all night.
Just grab the car, don’t care how far.
As long as your by my side,
I’m up for a little ride!

Verse 2:
So grab what you need, as soon as you can.
Hey why you hesitating, this has been the plan.
Since we were small and scared
But now we’re older and prepared.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
So Tonight, we’ll kiss our folks goodbye
Yeah tonight, we will touch the sky!

Repeat Chorus
