Chanel Stasiuk

I'm a 15 year old new country singer songwriter. I've been performing since I was 5. My first solo was Silent Night sung in my pajamas at the school Christmas concert. Since then I've added both songs and clothes to my repertoire. My parents say they knew I could sing at the age of 2 when they caught me singing along with Shania Twains "I Feel Like a Woman"...with feeling! I've been writing and performing some of my own songs since I turned 12. I love singing meaningful songs and sharing those emotions with my audience.

I live in the Vancouver BC lower mainland and have been performing at many of the summer outdoor festivals for the last 4 years including Merritt Mountainfest, Coquitlam Blue Mountain Festival, White Rock's Spirit of the Sea, Newton Days, Whalley Days, Ocean Park Days and the Campbell Valley Country Celebration.

I also like to give back to the community so I perform as part of the Raveon Roadshow which has artists perform at homes for disabled adults who have difficulty getting out to regular venues. I've met lots of great people doing this event over the past 2 years (I may have even found the President of my future fan club!!)

I love to write whether it's songs or stories and so I keep a blog on my website.

My influences include lots of country artists like Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Sugarland etc. and also classic rock such as Brian Adams and Bon Jovi!
