Stephanie *Chantel* Carter A.K.A Chantelay was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida to Linda and Chuck Carter. At a young and tender age, Chantelay had a mature sense of style making Whitney Houston her role model. Chantelay was so inspired that she started to write and sing her own songs. Chantelay's talent was encouraged by her family and peers. During high school, Chantelay never dreamt of the future track of going to college. She wanted to pursue her career in music. Chantelay started her own R&B singing group called "Girls on a Mission". This group consisted of 8 talented ladies. With her unique style and burning desire for music. Chantelay took the reigns of becoming the leader of this sensational group. Chantelay lead her group in major talent shows and local concerts. Chantelay and her group were honored to be chosen to perform at the prestigious Urban Leagues annual National Organizational Meeting. As time progressed news of their group spread like fire. Positively, years later, the group decided to pursue personal career. Chantelay continued performing at talent shows always placing in the top 2.

Her voice and style is extraordinary and explosive. Chantelay takes every stage as if she owns it, putting all listeners into a magical musical trance. With that force, Chantelay now performs for nationally known artist. Chantelay has done opening acts for the new hot sensation T-Pain at club T.K.O in West Palm Beach. Soon after that she was asked to be on T-Pain's album "Epiphany" on a skit called "I got it".She also opened up for artists such as Freeway, 3 Peace, Fat Joe, Mario, & Ace Hood, just to name a few. Finally, Chantelay thought she has found her name, her mission, her purpose, MUSIC. Chantelay's hit singles "BIG GIRL", "ROCKSTAR", & "CHECK OUT MY SWAG", is now circulating all over Florida's local radio stations. Her single's has been one of the most requested songs among Florida's top underground stations. Chantelay also tore the house down at the Underground Queen Concert sponsored by the local radio stations. She is also the winner two years in a row for "Best Female R&B" at the Palm Beach Hip Hop Awards 2008, & 2009. Chantelay has the fire and touch that we all have been waiting for.
