Armed with sweet and powerful vocals, Chantilly’s Up To the Moon EP booms and crashes like the Brooklyn singer’s sunny and quirky disposition... Filled with soaring crashes, violins and honest, heartfelt lyrics; it’s easy to feel happy and in love together with the singer. - FrostClick
Her voice is as femme as her name. She reminds us a bit of Sia and Feist, with her breathy vocals and the guitar backdrop... This is indie chick rock that ROCKS! - Artist Direct
“The Up to the Moon EP is a waltzing collection of battered-heart ballads and vulnerable vows that teeter on the edge of tears, dejected smiles, and faded summertime memories.” - Performer Magazine

Bio
Chantilly is a Brooklyn-dwelling indie songwriter who describes herself as “ dollop of melancholy, and a sprinkle of whimsy,” and will tell you that she writes the best rainy day songs you’ve ever cried to.
Like many souls seeking the spotlight, Chantilly was determined to grind it out with the best of 'em in NYC. She has been plodding away at gaining a loyal following and selling music via social media and her successful lifestyle blog. In an age where traditional media is all but considered dead, hundreds of CD’s quietly find their way into the homes of those who hover behind their laptops, reading the ongoing adventure of a creative gal “making it” in Brooklyn.
Her newest recording, the Up to the Moon EP, was a collaboration with producer Saul Simon Macwilliams (Ingrid Michaelson, Beasts of the Southern Wild). The collection consists of five bouncy yet heartbreaking compositions, which have drawn comparisons to Cat Power, Ellie Goulding, and Sia.
