"Christian Einfeldt"

What did you love about the B-52s? Was it the the way that their music just made you ache for the open road and wanting more? Welcome to Chapel of Thieves. The lead singer, Elysia, has the same mournful, wailing, compelling voice that I associate with Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson of the B52s, all of whom are masters (mistresses?) at using the evocative Devil's Triad, a chord combination that is so powerful and moving it was banned by the Catholic Church for centuries. The rest of the band is also very tight behind her, with driving guitars and drums that will leave you gasping for more.

BTW, the Devil's Triad is the chord that Elysia hits when she sings "been there before". It just makes you want to crawl out of your skin in agony and ecstasy. Which is why the Church banned the triad - digitaltippingpoint.com

Bio

The female fronted Chapel of Thieves, have created a sound that is all their own. With organs and the compelling vocals of Elysia Moon, Chapel of Thieves strive to bring a breath of fresh air into a stagnant music industry. Originating in Southern California, Chapel of Thieves instantly gained notoriety with the release of their first video "Minus You" on YouTube.

With the release of their full length album "Haunted Hearts" in August 2007, Chapel of Thieves have been consistently touring and have steadily sold out of albums and merchandise. Along with selling out shows at many venues, some being The Key Club, Safari Sams, The House Of Blues, The Whisky A Go Go, and Alex's Bar. Chapel of Thieves has been featured in many publications, including the May 2008 issue of Savage Tattoo Magazine. They have also proved themselves worthy of playing this year's 2008 Ink and Iron Tattoo Convention aboard the Queen Mary, along with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Lords of Altamont, and The Black Angels. They have earned themselves main supporting slots with Civet, TSOL, English Beat and Wednesday 13. In an industry so uncertain of itself, Chapel of Thieves are one of the few that will swim, never sink, while always leaving the fans wanting more.
