2007 EP:
"If You Want Me"
"Starting to Roll"

Lead guitarist/vocalist Paulo Charbel is from Brazil. He came to the US seven years ago, with the blessing of his family, to pursue his dream of finding the right avenue for his unique style of lyric and melody. Writing with English as his second language and with strong Latin music roots such as Bossa Nova, Charbel is introducing a truly new and unique sound into the rock arena. In a day and age when everything is starting to sound somewhat the same, Charbel is fresh and interesting. Listener reaction is universally positive.

Bassist Evan Wood is a native Californian, playing professionally since age 13. With his former rock band, Wood has played most of the major Hollywood venues — Whisky, Roxy, Knitting Factory — and is a seasoned performer. Playing five-string bass, he is able to create the full and driving sound so necessary to a power trio. He provides a solid backdrop, which is the ideal complement to rhythm and lead alike in Charbel.
