Charese Sailor's soulful, sultry voice coupled with complex melodies has been compared to that of Natalie Cole and Jazz great Ella Fitzgerald in her early years. Her songs are written from the heart to motivate yet comfort, while pleasing the ear. Original music drives her expressive lyrics creating an inspirational neo-soul feel, as she incorporates jazz and R&B into her signature sound. This native of Detroit has performed in venues such as Ford Field, The Palace of Auburn Hills, and The State Theater, along with invitations to sing before dignitaries such as attendees of NAACP National Conventions. Charese has graced the stage with artists like jazz guitar virtuoso Peter White, and Pieces of a Dream while performing at Smooth Jazz V98.7 functions in the Metro Detroit area. As a singer/songwriter, Charese's distinctive sound of self-written gritty lyrics meshed with pulsating beats is like none before her.
