CHARGERTRON is currently in the studio, recording their first full-length LP.

Feeling a bit camera shy

CHARGERTRON’s brand of NYC punk rock combines the hard-core sound of 80’s skate-punk with elements of hip hop, grunge and British alternative.

Influenced by such artists as the Circle Jerks, Sonic Youth and 50 Cent, lead-singer “1984” tears apart the stage with an intensity not seen on the Lower-East Side since the days of Sid Vicious.

Amidst the mayhem, guitarist Mike Burn conjures a vivid guitar tapestry over the hammering rhythms and bumping beats of bassist Mendez and drummer Keflex.

Chargertron began playing in NYC clubs in early 2004. Since the beginning, they've consistently filled houses with devoted fans, and have earned weekend headlining spots at some of NYC's best live venues.

CHARGERTRON was recently featured in the publication, THE ONION. They can be heard on the airwaves of numerous New York college radio stations.
