David has taught leading guitarists worldwide; and, as a active composer, he has premiered works for sanctuary choirs, children‘s groups, instrumental ensembles, and soloists.
• 2007 Kansas City Christian Music (King Kat) Association Award Instrumentalist of the Year
• 2005 Kansas Federation of Music Clubs’ Musician of the Year,
• Pro-Memberships: Gospel Music Association, Americana Music Association, American Federation of Musicians, Kansas City Guitar Society, Kansas City Christian Music, American Society of Composers and Producers (ASCAP)
David teaches music with MidAmerica Nazarene University and Kansas City Kansas Community College. He, his wife & youngest son are very active with the Olathe Westside Church (Kansas City) where they directly participate in many areas of family ministry.
