Bio
Charles Fullwood, musician, songwriter, entertainer, born in Mission Viejo, California began composing his first songs as a child by singing to the music of the wind while riding in the family car, the window open so the wind was able to blow its sweet music into his ears. He would spend hours watching his favorite musicals on VHS, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Wiz, and West Side Story, singing all the songs and parts which he new by heart. Growing up in a musical home, surrounded by musicians and writers, it was no surprise when, at the age of 11, Charles announced he was playing his first show at the Depot in San Juan Capistrano, having formed up the band Not Quite Cool with a couple of his friends, Tristan Saylor on guitar, Greg Taylor on drums, and himself on bass. By the age of 14 he was playing at venues like the Coach House, The Roxy, the House of Blues and Hogue Barmichaels with his band, Lush Behavior, performing his original songs.
Charles’ music is constantly evolving as his interests in different genres of music have evolved. Influenced by such groups as Silverchair, Ours, The Temptations and artists like Michael Jackson, James Brown and Little Richard, Fullwood’s music is going through a period of change. With the flavor of soul and dance music, Charles’ music is escalating to higher heights daily with his new found instrument the Kaiossilator Pro. Creating original beats, music and songs, with his dynamic voice and undeniable charisma, Charles Fullwood is still singing and swinging to the wind.
