Lyrics

What We Love

Written By: Charles Winston

The lights are shinin' on me
I'm runnin' around here
And I'm belting the lyrics out
Everybody's watchin' me, and they're lovin' it
And I can here 'em shout

We're playin', but they're not paying
But it's okay because
We're Just doing what we love

And I'm playin' the song for me
And I'm singin' the sweet, sweet melody
And you're watchin' us just having fun
And we're doin', we're doin'
We're just doin' what we love

My fingers prancin' on the keys
Up and down and all around
My mind is dancin', full of emotion
Nothin' could ever get me down

We're playin' but they're not payin'
But it's okay because
We're just doin' what we love

And I'm playin' the song for me
And I'm singin' the sweet, sweet melody
And you're watchin' us just having fun
And we're doin', we're doin'
We're just doin' what we love

Please Forgive Me

Written By: Charles Winston

I took my life, I set it out to sea
Please forgive me
I took my love, and I threw my love away
There's never been a sadder day
I left you there, you're standing by yourself
Just like no one else
And now I'm gone, sorry for what i've done
Please forgive me

But somewhere, you'll find me, beyond the waves of the water
And someday, you'll listen to me with your friends, your sons, and your daughters
And sometimes, you'll see me in the reflection of another
So somewhere, you'll find me, beyond the waves of the water

The days have passed since I've been gone
But you're still not movin' on
I wish that I could just come back
I want to see the world again

I took my life, I set it out to sea
Please forgive me
