COMMENTS BY BRIAN MCGRATH, BRISBANE BRONCOE'S OPERATIONS MANAGER;=

Brian McGrath Operations Manager Brisbane Bronco's comments January 20, 2006 :- " When I was initially contacted (June 2004)about Charlie I was skeptical only because of her age. I heard her voice and thought...she has a magnificient voice and I'll give her a go" Since first meeting Charlie she has shown a maturity beyond her years. All her family should be congratulated for helping her become the person she is. As a performer she is an adult but at times , meeting the players she returns to a 'normal young girl'. I laugh to myself because at one game (last year) she sang wonderfully and also drew "Charlie was here" on one of the blackboards whilst waiting to see the players. I am a big fan of hers and wish her all the best in music and her life. It is an honour to have played a small part in her journey in this part of her life".

In July 2004 "Charlie" performed for the first time at Suncorp Stadium before 24500 people. Charlie sang 5 songs two of which were her own. This was

Let Go

Written By: Charlie Bleines

I thought that you would be over me
But I heard you're still talking about me
It's just so sad that you can't see I'm over you
It's time to move on
You just can't let go
Of what we had and what we were
You just can't let go
And swallow your pride
You just can't let go
The movies and us holding hand
Just let go
And live your own life
I thought that this would end differently
But I get missed calls from you constantly
I'm sick and I'm tired of everything you put me through
I'm telling you
You just can't let go
Of what we had and what we were
Just let go
And swallow your pride
You just can't let go
The movies and us holding hands
Just let go
I still remember dancing in june
And the winters spent in your room
And your kisses
Haunting my lips
But it's over, it's over
Can you get over this
Just let go
Of what we had and what we were
Just let go
And swallow your pride
Just let go
The movies and us holding hands
Just let go
And live your own life

The way I feel today

Written By: Charlie

I always try to see the best in everything
Maybe I’m naive but I’m still here believing
Even though it hurts sometimes to think that I’m the only one, who feels this way
Even though I can’t explain or find the words to say
The way I feel today

When the city lights and traffic gets to me
I can untie my hair and try and hear the symphony
you only laugh at me and say that I'm insane
Well you may be right but that just won’t change,
The way I feel today The way I feel today The way I feel today

The new day breaks
Another chance to get it right
And now the time has come, for me to start, to live my life
And when tomorrow comes and takes my breath away
Yeh Yeh Yeh
And if the sky is grey I know it just won’t change,
The way I feel today. The way I feel today
The way I feel today .The way I feel today
The way I feel today, the way I feel today,,

Moving

Written By: Charlie

Tried to tell you, about all my pain
The fact that I’m so lonely didn’t help the rain
When the weather changes and the new seasons here
I sit back and cry , so it’s cold outside

I wonder why I’m here and I think about my tears
When the weather changes, my mind breaks in two
I find it hard to cope with it all and I sometimes think of all, then you will understand because of all the pressure I’m in.

Can’t describe to you how I feel about it all
Two much of a change, has taken it’s toll
When the weather changes and the new seasons here.
I sit back and cry, then its cold outside

I wonder why I’m here and I think about my tears, when the weather changes my mind, breaks in two. I find it hard to cope with it all and I sometimes think of all, then you will understand because of all the pressure I’m in

and I’m out of here before I turn into a mess, I need somehow to try and understand and try to explain I’m appealing to you, so I can wonder where

I wonder why I’m here and I think about my tears when the weather changes, my mind breaks in two
I find it hard to cope with it all, and I sometimes think of all
Then you understand because of the pressure I'm in.
