The Charlie Boyz is a rap group that was created in 2006. The group started with Charlie Boy Pimpin Duke and Charlie Boy Mechi. In late 2008 Charlie Boy Threat was added to complete the group. At this time the group started recording at Lakefrontstudios where they went on to start winning various show cases and open mic's. Each group member has his on unique talent that makes the group work. First Charlie Boy Pimpin Duke character makes the beats and come up with catchy hooks. Charlie Boy Pimpin Duke real name is Deondre Thomas born 1/12/1987. Wrote first song at age 5 call "Meet this girl at sliding board". Pimpin Duke character adds a laid back charisma but super stage energy performance. Second Charlie Boy Mechi known for his smooth verses that catch fans attention. Charlie Boy Mechi youngest of Charlie Boys born Ronnie Welch 9/27/90. Started raping to increase his vocabulary. Realised he was smarter than average. The backbone of the group because will let ego go to make group balance out. Third is Charlie Boy Threat known for his very very catchy verses and Charlie Boy hype man. Charlie Boy Threat born Antonio Juan Webb 9/12/86 the grandson of the late blues singer Jonnie Taylor. The group has incredible energy and that "it factor" that just draw fans. The group home is Scottdale, Ga. There inspiration is to make music for themselves that people like. If the fame come with their movement they plan to give back to their community because growing up with single parents they want to help the youth in their community and pave a way for talent from anywhere, so other talent won't get lost in the shuffle.
