I write then I get writers block (typically because I'm in a
software support position with mucho stess), then I'll
get to take some of my vacation (use it or lose it) and
I'll feel like writing again.
Repeat ad infinitum
I do like to collaborate - especially filling in lyrics that make sense.

Biography

Started out playing bass for a side band in school (U. of Dayton) playing wednesday, friday and saturday nights
at Mario's Pizza Pub; competing with "Number 19, your
pizza's ready!"...Influences then were definately THE BEATLES! Also though in Jerry and the Pacemakers,
The Animals and the Rolling Stones, of course.
Come the end of the 60's and its a different feel after
a band and just playing here and there acoustically
so Pete Seger, Bob Dylan, CSN&Y, Tom Paxton became
my heros. Today, I'm loving the Indie artist who are at the
same time altruistic and personal - like Quiet Company,
Florence and the Machine, Bob Schneider, etc.

Lyrics

Ignorance is Bliss (instrumental)

Written By: Charlie Camp

If you ever lie to me , tell me that you'll never leave
promise me that you will never let me know
the when or where or how of it
the knowledge of just what I'll miss
will fade at dusk and another sun will rise

Ignorance is bliss, I don't want pity just send me down the road I came in on
tell me in the morning just stay with me tonight 'cause ignorance is such sweet bliss

This love of ours had no plan when you first took my hand
you and I could leave at any time
and I knew there was a risk
from the first amazing kiss
that I could fall helplessly in love

I can see you've made your mind to leave the recent past behind
and chase your dream wherever it may go
so I wish all the best for you even though it makes me blue
think of me as I think of you

Discography

Had one song placed on the Paramount Group compilation
album "Catch a Rising Star" and lucked out with a great
country star of a singer from the session players that
just took my song "Only One Woman" to the right level.
I did enjoy the experience.
