"New Music / Charlie Tippie"

Charlie Tippie stirs hip hop, rap and electronic with just the right mix of old school soul and beats. His song, Alone Tonight, makes me want to jump on a plane to New York City for his show on March 19. For now, I have to settle for his seven track Mute album on repeat, each song taking me to different places. - Lost At E Minor

"Vocaloid"

"Rap-hotness in full effect with a topping made of ruff bass... will definitely be a track you could listen to on heavy rotation in your HQ and must be played on a dance floor at Vol 100!” - The Fast Life

"New Remix: Charlie Tippie – Vocaloid (Terror Dactel Mix)"

“The track,’Vocaloid’ is a perfect combo of rock and hip hop, with enough grit and dirt to make any rock, hip hop or electro fan happy.” - Boom Boom Chik

"Wednesday Round Up"

"Heavyweight bass grinding Hip-hop track from Charlie Tippie" - Chrome Kids

Bio

Charlie Tippie raps good.
Charlie commands a powerful use of words... Refusing to be compartmentalized, put in a box or labeled, Charlie makes music for himself with a loyalty to his listeners and the instrumentation. His stage presence is powerful, unique and unfettered.

He rocked the side stage before Lil Wayne’s show in Long Island in 2009 and starred in a national television commercial that started airing January 2010. This TV spot aired in a segment on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and was featured by The Washington Post. The commercial was part of a $300 million campaign by the US Census to get people to fill out the form in 2010. Charlie was also featured in another shorter edit, two radio spots and some digital applications of the commercial. His spot was broadcast on MTV, VH1, BET, CMT, A&E, TBS, NBC and during American Idol and March Madness.

Charlie's genre-bursting EP “Mute,” is a collection of electro-inspired hip hop that showcases Charlie’s exceptional song writing and pop potential – which is only amplified by his unique perspective.

Charlie is working with a list of different producers helmed by Jacob Steele, Terror Dactel, Figure and Ming, of Ming + FS fame. He has shared the stage with innovative contemporaries Blitz the Ambassador, Fresh Daily and Rocky Business. Mr. Tippie is constantly releasing material and you can see him live throughout NYC.
