Charlie Wuth

Charlie and Gary formed as friends who sat in their backyard and jammed. We began hitting the open mikes in Asbury Park, and local area to have some fun with the music that we enjoyed playing. We met many other terrific and talented musicians from the area. At that time, we concentrated on blues songs, such as Charlie Musslewhites "Church is Out, Muddy Waters, "I Just Want to Make Love to You, and blues/rock and roll songs, such as House of the Rising Sun. We also played original songs, and bluegrass classics such as East Virginia. Our repetoire grew, and we began to play with other local musicians and we appeared at The Saint on a few occasions. Last year we began to play more regularly in local coffe houses, such as The Green Planet in Pt. Pleasant, The Twisted Tree, and America's Cup in Asbury Park. We have also performed at other local venues that pop up in the summer in the Asbury area from time to time. Our music is designed to be catchy, and produce a good blend of sound between the acoustic guitar and the harp. I personally love the sound of a good blues harp, with an acoustic guitar, and we are one of only a few people in this area, that have this type of combination. We provide a mixture of of songs in order to not sound repititious, and change up the tempo's. Because Gary and I have been influenced by so many types of music growing up, we have an rather ecclectic mix of interests.
