With the combination of lifelong friendship's, dreams, and desires out comes Charlize. In the Houston scene for the last 4 years, they've grown in every way possible.Writing goofy love songs to win girls is now in the past. Well, for the most part. Formerly known as the Leisure Class Heroes, they felt it was time for a change. Also the fact that there are 300 bands with "Heroes" in it. With a unique style derived from listening to bands like Weezer, Alkaline Trio, and Brand New Charlize is a quartet that will never die. Yet to release a full-length Charlize has recorded 4 EP's in 4 years. After selling a thousand copies of their last EP "New EP 2003" they were ready to move on. Their latest EP entitled "The Last 3 Years" was recorded in their bedroom closet. Playing with bands such as Fallout Boy, Allister, Maxeen and playing venues all over Houston like The Engine Room and Fitzgerald's they were ready to expand. With all the tools to tour Charlize has been playing as many out-of-town shows as possible. Playing shows in Colorado including Warped Tour 2004 in Denver and playing all over Texas they've been able to form a driving fan-base.
