Bio
Charlot VI is an American hip-hop recording artist and song writer from the copper state of Arizona. As a young song writer and rapper, he admired and was greatly impacted by many of today’s musical icons. His biggest influences having been Kanye West, Drake, and Travis Scott.
Charlot VI had previously worked under the stage name Sneaks Nasa. He performed at various Arizona and California venues. Many of the songs he wrote were ultimately recorded onto mix tapes and given out to family, friends, and fans. In 2014, Sneaks Nasa went to work on a new mix tape with a Tucson, AZ producer named Avium.
Avium happened to be a business partner of an indie record label by the name of Invaded Records LLC, also in Tucson. He presented this mix tape to his business partners who were so impressed that they offered Sneaks Nasa a recording and publishing deal. Given the company’s creed of empowering their artists with total artistic control over lyric and music, he was elated to accept their offer.
Sneaks Nasa immediately began writing new material for his debut EP. He also made the decision to change his stage name to Charlot VI. As a more mature artist, it was important that his new name have greater significance to his birth name. It also needed to reflect the progression of writing scheme and the maturation that had transpired from a young Sneaks Nasa’s straight rap style to the more melodic, hook driven, lyrical song format of a Charlot VI.
To this end, Charlot VI releases “Endless Waltz” - his debut album. With songs like "Serpent", “King”, “Long Livin”, “Illuminati”, and “Endless Waltz”, he aspires to reveal himself as a modern hip–hop/rapper that evidences the continuing evolution of this genre to all those willing to push Play.
