My name is chase mccloud and after years of playing and singing in heavy rock bands i became fed up with myself as an artist and swore off the "band" model after hurricane katrina kept us apart. I began to write from a raw andhonest perspective this led me to a new instrument. in the summer of 2006 i began to play piano and began to write songs like i had never written before, i was able to express myself in a whole new light. this grew into me dragging my full upright piano to the streets daily to play for people in the french quarter. from these street session i gained some fans and was able to land a spot playing main stage at the house of blues in New Orleans this was a dream come true for me and when i was offered the show i knew it was time i took my sound to the next level and added other musicians so i recruited some good friends and the raw piano rock sound of chasemccloud formed and has been growing and molding ever since.
