Biography

Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina, Chasen's inspirational pop/rock has been brewing since leader Chasen Callahan was a toddler. As a four year old he began his journey banging on pots and pans, and soon moved up to actual drums. It wasn't long, though, until Chasen desired more. He wanted to be a leader, spreading his vision of love and the beauty of life with as many people as he could. This is when he began to play guitar, aided by his father's band, and started writing songs soon after.

At this point Chasen's mission started to become reality. At the age of 16 Chasen split his time between playing drums and leading worship at his church, where his parents were the youth pastors. In less than a year, his followers moved from 10 people to 100 and Chasen knew it was time to venture out and spread his gift. He began touring with the Jam band 2*9*11 sharing the stage with such bands as Everyday Sunday and KJ-52.

At the age of 21, Chasen met Aaron Lord (drums) and Wil Martin(bass), who began touring with Chasen playing over 250 shows that year. With the addition of Evan Silver on lead guitar, the band was complete and ready to move on to bigger things. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Fuse Box, Jeremy Camp and needtobreathe.

In 2006 the band signed with OMG records and recorded their first EP with Grammy winning engineer/producer Noel Golden (Matchbox Twenty, Edwin McCain.) With a new record, a new label, and the same inspirational message, Chasen is ready to reach the masses, and the masses don't seem to mind listening.
