In a place your within your mind body and sole where rhythm meets melody and keeps you from cold, where dirty hands play reggae and jazz and funk are one, where we dance to Cuban rhythm under the sun. This is our place so lovely so true it comes from our hearts Chasing Darwin was to you.
Chasing Darwin is a party band from London On fusing sounds of rock, reggae, jazz and cuban rhythms to create an ever evolving and dynamic live experience. With a set list containing Original Chasing Darwin songs and some of your favourite timeless jams from artists such as; Sublime, Bob Marley, Out Cast, The Guess Who, Men at Work, The Beatles and more you’ll be sure to be singing along in no time.
Originally formed by Evan and Tyler in early 2011 after a year living together at what was later dubbed the pawnee shop. The two immediately began combining songs and working together to find the remaining members to complete the group. The band slowly grew, gigging with amazing players between 2011-2012 fully forming in Sept 2012.
Chasing Darwin is currently gigging with Evan Kinsella- Lead Vocals/Guitar, Tyler Cox-Bass/Vocals, Spencer Frost-Guitar/Percussion/DJ/Vocals, Eric Forester and Max Harper-Drums
