Chasing Dees is a pop punk band from Cheyenne, Wyoming, that formed in Oct. 2009. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Chiquillo and guitarist Cameron Green. The Band was formerly known as an acoustic band called “Sincerely Waiting” which was formed in Aug. 2008. The two decided on moving to Hollywood, California and attended school at the Musician's Institute. Perfecting their craft, they changed their name due to the fact of writing different and exciting material. Chasing Dees’ new pop punk style relates to bands like All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, and We The Kings.
In March 2010, Chasing Dees released a two track demo, "Songs From Last Year" produced by their guitarist Cameron Green. Featuring guest vocals from AJ de Guzman and drums from Brandon Davis.
In Feb 2011, Chasing Dees added Sean Grant(bass) and Kirill Nirman(drums) to round out the band. Since Sean and Kirill both live in the Denver area, Chris and Cameron commute 2 hours to practice.
