"Big ups to Chasing Edison and Yesterday's Gravy for blowing up Smokey's last night. Both bands were on point! Great crowd, very appreciative... You could tell Chasing Edison is in the studio/ T-I-G-H-T. I don't think there's such a thing as a flawless performance but what I heard last night sounded about as close as it gets. precise, precise, precise. Justin Babcock is a freakin' animal on drums! Half part Jeff Sipe half part Mike Portnoy..."
-Chris Adams - Chris Adams
"This CD is phenomenally creative. Babcock's snare on a few of the tunes sounds more like .38. Crack! Crack! Crack! Don't know how they got that sound but I've never heard anything like it. There's some crazy cool sounds with Dalton's voice too... really cool stuff. Can't wait for the [release date] so others can hear it."

"Brilliant through and through..." - Carolina Live Music Society
"There's an interesting balance in the tunes – distorted guitars with some keyboard riffs dropped in behind it highlight the opening track, "Watch It Burn," for some kind of amalgam between Alice in Chains-style metal and Iron Butterfly-era psychedelia. "People" and "Fog" open with some Anastasio-style riffing leading into a jazz groove. The songs mostly run longer than five minutes, so you better dig in before listening – three clock in around 10 minutes.
The band's music has the diversity to catch the attention of jam fans as well as those who appreciate a harder edge."
