Bio
Chasing Mona is a Dallas Rock/Metal band that started in October of 2010. Drummer Juan Cano and Lead Guitarist Joseph Salazar met through local music lesson school in which they had the opportunity to play multiple venues such as Pizza Hut Park, International Guitar Show 2010 and 2011, American Airline Center and have teamed up with Bassist Josh Mattil which has played with local bands at Six Flags, House of Blues, and worked with Justin Bieber. Since coming together as a band they have played The Door, Real Texas Festival, and The Prophet Bar. With each member coming from a different musical background and upbringing, the band's sound together is a unique sound that they can call their own. Some of our influences are Led Zeppelin, Metallica, and 30 Second to Mars, but we play all kinds of music but mostly enjoy playing Rock and metal.
