Chasing Tomorrow

Chasing Tomorrow

This prodigious group of rockers and their neo punk rock sound has started building a name for themselves in the Philly-NJ Scene. CT having already played for crowds of over 500, including shows at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park and Penn’s Landing, is committed to having their following multiply.

Chasing Tomorrow consists of three young men, all in 11th grade. All three started playing in their school orchestra four years ago. Based on their strong friendship and similar interest in the same type of music Chasing Tomorrow was founded. Their music teacher immediately took an interest and asked them to be MaST Charter School’s first "pep band". They played the school's basketball games, various dances and talent shows. During the summer of 2005 they started moving on to larger neighborhood and charity type events, including benefits and the “Pennypack Park Centennial Concert." All three are currently taking lessons at Howard Herbert's Music Center in Northeast Philly.

The type of music they play is modern/punk rock. Their library of Original Songs is continuously growing. To compliment the original songs, Chasing Tomorrow also plays songs written by some of the most popular artist today including Green Day, Blink 182, Sum 41 and others. Audiences have been blown away by the amount of professionalism these three young men put into their presentation.

With the hopes entering the music industry, Chasing Tomorrow plans on first slamming into the Philadelphia/Jersey Club Scene with all cylinders firing. Lead singer John Sander has been quoted as saying “We just want to get out there and play at this point.” They know that with the life experiences as they mature they will find inspiration to continue to build their library of original songs.
