Chazaray "Chazzam" Tolbert was born April 30, 1982 in Newport News, VA and raised in the city of New York, NY. He first exposed his gift in music at the tender age of 4. Growing up he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his musically gifted family and often says his most influential inspiration is his father, Richard Tolbert, Sr., a very powerful pianist. The Jackson 5, Patti Labelle, Brian McKnight, Silk, Luther Vandross, and DeBarge are on his top ten lists of industry greats.
Today at age 29, Chazaray has gained an even deeper love and knowledge for music. He serves as CEO of HAMTRACKZ PRODUCTIONS, where he co-writes and produces for a roster of locally know artists including TIA MICHELLE, JALON BLACC, and ROCK. He to become successful with the help of GOD, his family and friends. "With faith and belief in GOD, I believe there is nothing I cannot accomplish."
