Most new hip-hop acts seem to be focused on the “gangsta” façade, creating countless tributes to the most notorious on screen characters from our favorite “shoot em up” films. Song writer/Performer Chazzo, excludes him self from the “cool table” by doing the exact opposite. Catering to a younger female demographic, the 19 year old trendsetter is intensely focused on creating a new genre. One that’s “synth” heavy and energetic enough to be considered commercial pop, but with lyrics risqué enough to be considered Rap.
After competing as a finalist in Violator Management’s “Who Got Skillz” contest, Chazzo came back to Milwaukee, WI with a new vision on how to market himself as an artist. From his fashion forward appearance to his diverse array of radio-ready singles, Chazzo is well on his way to becoming the Midwest’s next superstar personality.
