Cheap Ohio is a Montreal based indie band that brings the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, and The Smiths into one LOUD and dancey group! Hailing in from Los Angeles, California and Ottawa, Ontario, and with all members having a background in some form of classic music training or another, the distinct sound of Cheap Ohio is already gaining traction and recognition in their second hometown of Montreal.
Their first release, Good Morning Elephant, included some of their original local hits dubbed Instagram Filter and I’m See Through, the former of which was played on Ottawa’s very own 88.5 f.m. radio station. With this initial burst of success and recognition, the band is already working on the likes of two more EP’s which will soon be released for their die-hard fans to enjoy!
Cheap Ohio has played many of Montreal’s famed indie establishments and are known throughout their growing fan-base for providing a wild atmosphere and hilarious interactions with their audience at the live performances. Every show is a perfectly chaotic event with band members running off the stage or ending up on the ground in one way or another. Concert-goers are guaranteed a boogie-filled, rockin’ night when going to see Cheap Ohio.
