When you need to set the mood Che Blaq is definitely the one to call on. Sexy, smooth, and sultry are the choice ingredients in his hypnotic brew. This Seattle based crooner founded the local R&B; sensation "The ARq" in 2001 with high school friend Jared Watson. The two released 2 studio albums and performed in various local and national venues, and almost signed with EMI in 2003. They went on to record 3 more studio albums until their dissolution in early 2010. Since then, Che Blaq has released his solo debut EP entitled ''Fearless: The Che Blaq EP, which has placed 3 songs in the Codeblack Entertainment film "Politics of Love" starring Ruby Dee, Brian Michael White, and Loretta Devine. He has also worked with the likes of Big K.R.I.T., Wingo of Jagged Edge, Plies, Young Joc, Casely, Messy Marv, and Aaron Hall. Che Blaq, the CEO of music media production brand The Label Entertainment/Island Hills Publishing, has been on a mission is to bring his signature sound to the most popular and influential artists in the entertainment industry. With flavorful features on projects with some of urban music's veterans and rising stars, Che Blaq's odyssey seems that of assent, affirmation, and ease.
