Bio
BIO Julian Mendez, (Granada, 1985).
Bass player and producer of Lori Meyers since their firsts demos 'till the end of "Hostal Pimodan" Tour (1998-2007). Julin has also played with bands such as Cecilia Ann, Flor or Lagartija Nick. Nowadays, he plays the bass with "Los Planetas", which are the biggest referent of indie music in Spain since the 90s.
In 2007 he starts his own personal project called "Checopolaco" being the frontman of a band composed by Tony Slowfinger, Alberto Ortiz, Miguel Lpez y Enrique Caizares.
After his first album named "Un disco de Folk Podrido" (Loja Sound, 11), and his second album "Checopolaco" (Loja Sound, 12), they win the andalusian youth talent contest "Desencaja 2012"
Their comeback in 2013 is with the single called "Los misiles, bienn!!"anticipating their next recording.
