Bio
Lead by singer/songwriter Isabelle Reynaud (Cheeky Goose) plays an energetic show with her band featuring guitar, keyboard, bass and drums.
Cheeky Goose takes Stevie Nicks' rawness and Florence Welch's boldness then mixes them with Joni Mitchell's story-telling to create a uniquely engaging show. Isabelle draws inspiration and energy from the stories in her life and sends them out into the universe through song, capturing a beautiful darkness which belies her uplifting songwriting.
In November 2014 Cheeky Goose released her debut self-titled EP, and the lead single “Photographs” placed in the semi-finals in the “International Song of the Year” competition. Cheeky Goose also appeared on Channel 31’s “Tone Control” in March 2015, performing live. Cheeky Goose most recently appeared in the 2015 St Kilda festival, and took the crowd into the fireworks on the final night of Australia’s largest community festival Moomba 2015.
The band have just released a richly arranged cover version of Coldplay’s “Violet Hill” and are involved in pre-production for another two original singles and a second music video.
