Bio

Among the different members of the band, they have performed 3/4 of the way around the world.
They have enough degrees among them to start
a music school. They are veteran club and concert performers who have entertained thousands of people.

The Chef Eric Band is described differently
by everyone who hears them. They have been referred to as "fun, high energy, rhythmical, different, unique, innovative, traditional, technical, down home, modern and old school. Their style has been called rock, jazz, blues, country, rockabilly, and bluegrass (none of which we feel is a complete description).

It's a fusion of different traditional styles of American music blended together with blues with a focus on energy, rhythm and fun. You could call us a Rockin Blues Band - you would not be the first. We think of ourselves as a family of blues players who don't play the same old stuff, and who aren't afraid to do the difficult, as well as the really good old things you don't get to hear anymore.

Our album "Today's Special" has played in France, Netherlands(radio Aria Pulsions 70), and most recently on Rude Dog's Rhythm Hour blues show on WLOY1620 AM radio in Baltimore. One song from the album (Alligator Tale) is scheduled to be released on the oasis sampler cd (www.oasis.com) sometime late summer of 2006.

We have fan bases in eastern Tenessee, Maryland, West Virginia, and Virginia. We frequently perform to multigenerational audiences and our favorite compliment which we often get is, " I brought my Dad/Son/Mom to see you guys play because this band is the real deal" - and the real deal is what we're about. This is the aspect of the band that shines through at a show.
