Up and coming Christian rap artist Chellzzz, writes and produces innovative, intriguing music that is enjoyable, energetic and God-Driven. Whether he's rhyming or singing along with his dynamic beats and unique melody, some fans compare his style to Drake. This 22 year old Detroit native reveals his expectations behind his music.
My reason behind my music is not fame and glory but to win souls for the Kingdom Of God and change the way people view Christian Rap. The 3 Z's in my name represent Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; besides it uniqueness, every time I see my name, it reminds me of why and who I do this for and it is all for God's Glory.
Chellzzz performed in the 2014 Gospel Fest in Saginaw, MI where is was an opening act for Hezekiah Walker. Chellzzz was the opening act for Shana Wilson at the Blessed in the D Benefit Concert (2014). He also rocked the stage at Vanessa Bell Armstrong's 60th Birthday Celebration at Perfecting Church (2013). He also performed at Orpy Theater in Nashville (July 2012) at the annual Gospel Showcase presented By Gospel Workshop of America, Inc. A&R Executives commended his performance. Chellzzz single Heaven from the "True Disciple album, was in rotation on Detroit Mix 92.3FM-Rhythm and Praise with Deborah Pollard. Chellzzz has been interviewed on the Niacom platform, 88.1FM and 1440AM and Internet radio station www.svmixmedia.com.
When it comes to venues; size does not matter. Chellzzz performs all over Detroit, getting his music heard. He has plans to perform on bigger stages. His ambition will not allow him to settle but he plans to pursue labels and continue to build his brand until he pierce through the music industry.
"I will chase my dream until it becomes my reality". Chellzzz knows that, anything is possible with God and without him he can do nothing.
