Chellzzz

Up and coming Christian rap artist Chellzzz (22) expresses his Love for Jesus through innovative and intriguing music that is full of Life.  This Detroit native is a producer, part-singer and songwriter. Although the name may be strange, he knows exactly who he is and who he represents.  “I go by the name of Chellzzz and it’s spelled with 3 Z's, 1 for the Father, 1 for the Son, 1 for the Holy Spirit, so he's always with me.”

As a young man, Chellzzz explored his talents by way of any objects that made sound.  From pounding beats on tables with a pencil to sitting down and playing a piano.  With time, that soft spot for music continued to thrive right along with his relationship with God. Chellzzz says that his highest fulfillment is the creative aspect of arranging abstract sounds and bringing new textures to music. 

“Jesus is everything to me because He gave me a gift Money Can't Buy!” This gift has manifested into a force that embodies spirit led songs.  “While I'm writing I'm feel so in tuned with greater ideas and rhythms that normally would be difficult to come up with…But GOD! Lol.  The result is unforgettable moments.

Chellzzz performed in the 2014 Summer Gospel Fest in Saginaw, MI where he was an opening act for Hezekiah Walker.  He also was the opening act for Shana Wilson at the Blessed in the D Benefit Concert and Wess Morgan (2014). He also rocked the stage at Vanessa Bell Armstrong's 60th Birthday Celebration at Perfecting Church (2013). He also performed at Opry Theater in Nashville (July 2012) at the annual Gospel Showcase presented By Gospel Workshop of America, Inc. A&R Executives commended his performance.  

Chellzzz produces beats and collaborates with local artists.  He also performs regularly at local Christian clubs like The Rotunda and The Edge and youth ministry EPIC.

Chellzzz single “Heaven” from the "True Disciple album (2013), was played on Detroit Mix 92.3FM-Rhythm and Praise with Deborah Pollard. Chellzzz has been interviewed by Praise 102.7 Randi Myles.  Other radio interviews include 88.1FM and 1440AM and Internet radio stations www.svmixmedia.com, We're Focused Radio (www.wearefocusedradio.com), and the Niacom Platform (www.blogtalkradio.com/niacom).  

In the spring of 2015, Chellzzz new Mixtape entitled "The Holy Tape" will be released.  His heart is fixed on sharing his gift and declaring Gods message to the masses; inspiring his generation to stand up for Christ and experience the gift of Freedom, Life, and Love Jesus died for everyone to have.

As God guides Chellzzz through this amazing journey, he continues to seek Him.
