Chelsea Beauchamp, Texas born singer/songwriter, sits across from me wearing dark blue jeans, a gray sweater, no shoes, and freshly polished silver glitter toe nail polish. I feel like I am with an old friend.
Her eyes are sparkling and what will one day be laugh lines are just beginning to appear on the face of this bubbling 28 year-old.
She certainly seems happy to me. The album "Little Star" tells another side of the artist Chelsea Beauchamp. Deliciously sweet, without being overly sappy, Beauchamp's songs unravel the details of moments of contemplation, torrid love affairs, and life lessons. Go see her live and you will tingle from head to toe.
Alt-folk/acoustic/singer/songwriter reminiscent of Beth Orton, Regina Spektor, Mazzy Star, with a certain something you just have to hear for yourself.
