"Musical Review by Ray Ware (former manager of Nicole C. Mullen)"

"Chelsea Comeau is absolutely unique as a singer of the Christian persuasion. It sometimes feels like you have encountered her in the midst of a private prayer.”

Bio

Singer/songwriter Chelsea Comeau’s life’s journey was seemingly clear, until a devastating car accident changed everything. On May 26, 2006 two weeks after her college graduation, a dump truck crashed into her car claiming her sister’s life and almost hers. This was the turning point in her life: through prayer and supplication, Chelsea emerged with an even stronger conviction of God’s love and a deeper understanding of who God is. From this tragedy her testimony was birthed: “no matter the pitfalls in life’s journey, God is in control. He walks with you on your journey and guides you on your path so hold on to His hand and keep on walking even when you don’t know what’s next.”

Dedicating her life to ministry, Chelsea has emerged as a Christian solo artist focusing on spreading the message of God’s love. Her music reaches across music genres to convey a message of purpose, empowerment, and freedom from doubt, showing strength in trusting God. With an eclectic array of musical influences: Sade, Fred Hammond, Nicole C. Mullen and Lauren Hill, and her voice often described as an infusion of John Legend and Indie Arie, Chelsea’s soulful and very direct message is portrayed in her music, often times dealing with the struggle of life and the hope of the Christian journey.

Recently releasing her highly anticipated album “Journey”, Chelsea weaves her testimony of unbridled faith in God in the midst of tragedy emerging victorious. Her signature vocals of carry a distinct sound that compliments her heart-felt productions. “Journey”, “Been So Good” “Make It Easy” and “You Are God” are key songs within the album that establish Chelsea’s sound as multi-dimensional and far from mediocre. Enveloped within her love offering of diversity one will pick up on vocal sounds and musicality comparable to Sade, India.Arie and Cold Play yet credited in their own right for genuine arrangement and flavor. From laid-back tones of reflection to fun Caribbean influences, it is clear that “it’s all about the destination”. Join Chelsea on her journey of life and spiritual growth, through its ups and downs, and be inspired to live a life of purpose in God.
