Metis Singer Songwriter Chelsey June has been capturing the hearts of audiences with her soulful voice and unique song writing skills. Her Americana Folk genre music mixed with her ability to covey emotions has left many audiences feeling connected and intrigued. She offers a true look into her heart and mind.
Chelsey has been unstoppable since the release of her first Album Seize the Day in 2013. The songs on Chelsey's first Album were all written with a common theme; the theme of life. Each song portrays an emotion and an experience her songs include inspirational stories with morals of hope and healing.
Chelsey is currently working on her second album and will be releasing a new EP December 2014. Her new songs showcase the evolution of her song writing. She is currently collaborating with other Aboriginal artist.
Chelsey was chosen as a new and upcoming artist by La Ville de Gatineau, her release show was hosted at Caberet la Basoche in Aylmer QC.
She has been featured on CTV Morning show, TVA, Radio Canada and Unique FM 94.5 and APTN.
Chelsey was selected to be on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) for the TV series TAM talents autochtones musicaux which will be airing September 2015.
