Chelsye Mona (born Chelsye Mona Hines) was born in Ft. Worth, TX on May 12, 1991. Mona spent her formative years surrounded by the influences of her family and their faith. Mona was birth into Heavenly Gospel Church. At the age of 10, Mona mother (Valeria Taylor Hines) gave her the microphone during there youth choir practice and told her she had to start leading songs. Since then Mona has yet to put down the microphone and has fell in love with singing and God. Mona gave her life to Christ at a very young age. Mona has been through many obstacles dealing with peer pressure and acceptance from friends. She is letting God use her and letting Him lead her into success.
