Chemical Envy is from Indianapolis, IN. Tom Haskett (Vocals, Guitar) and Shane Crosby (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard) started the band in 2004. Various recording experiments were pursued thru the Drunk On Parade E.P. (2004) and the Grape, Tomatoes, Milk and Cheese E.P. (2008) and the latest Chemical Envy E.P. (2011). Guitars, pianos, synthesizers, harmonicas, various percussion, guitar effects, harmonic noise and shared vocals have served as emotional alchemy over the years and has had a mission statement of the bottom is the best place to be. Their has continually been a want to create and value art that is personal and genuine. Influences are not limited to early psychedelic, Americana, grunge, modern composers, soul, alternative folk. The two newest members Ivan Kazak (Drums, Percussion) and Blaine Crawford (Bass) have filled out the band and grown its palette substantially. Work on a full-length record has begun and is expected Fall 2012.
