Chemicals in Action

Chemicals In Action is an original four-piece rock band residing on the west coast of Wisconsin, halfway between the twin cities, Mn, and Milwaukee, Wi, in a college town of 60k called La Crosse. The longtime friends and members of Chemicals In Action share a common interset in sonic experimentation and recording, as well as big catchy pop rock hooks now and then. Three fourths of Chemicals In Action were members of midwest touring band Dream 13 from 2001-2004 with shows including Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wi, First Avenue 7th Street Entry and the Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, Mn, Ocayz Corral in Madison, Wi, and dozens more.

With more than a 10-year history of creating, recording, and performing music together, Chemicals In Action formed as a band in late 2004 with the intention of writing and performing new songs as well as reviving some old favorites that until now had only been heard by a few people on various boom box, 4 or 8 track recordings.

In September 2005, Chemicals In Action completed a two-song demo recording, began construction on wwwchemicalsinaction.com, and rocked out 17 well-received songs at local club 324. Before the year is over, Chemicals In Action plans to begin work on a full length recording with their friends at Natural Sounds Studio.
