Cherie Norquay

Like the Isrealites wandering in the desert wondering where the Promised Land was, Cherie spent her life wondering if there wasn't something more to being a Christian than attending church and participating in good Christian programs. Stepping into the Promised Land by faith in November of 2009, Cherie followed the call to go on a mission trip to Uganda. The trip to Uganda altered the course of her life, giving her more clarity and vision on what it means to truly follow in Jesus footsteps. The outpouring of new music from the Lord is evidence of this calling to share a deeper walk with the Lord Jesus with the body of Christ... personally challenging others to move beyond religious activities and to actually share Jesus' love by being the hands, feet, eyes, ears, mouthpiece of Jesus to the lost in a hurting world.

Cherie's heart for the lost and poor are evident in her evangelistic music. Penetrating deep into the spirit, her music is transforming lives and leading people to lead more committed lives for Jesus.

Returning to Uganda with their older two children and team of six others, in 2010, Cherie shared her music in Kampala, taught women in the bush of Africa to make handcrafted soap, preached and gave an altar call in a remote village, and continued relations with the "Women with Purpose" co-operative. The family expects to continue teaching self-sustainability and entrepreneurial skills in Africa in the near future.

Cherie is married 25 years to her high school sweetheart, John. They have five children that they homeschool.
