Hi everyone! Bonjour and Bienvenue to my artistic world!
This is Cherifa Tounsi, I am a French female songwriter-performer. I was born in the south of France, in Marseille, and have my origins in Algeria. 'A Toi De Choisir’ and ‘Tant Envie’, two French Pop musical acts, are the first songs I have recorded. They reveal to the public my huge love and natural talent for songwriting and performing as well as my great taste for mixing different styles as Pop, Dance, House/Electro, Arabic and Latino beats. The first track,

'Music' has always had the mysterious power to 'fascinate' and 'upraise' my soul. I was 16 years old when I sang in front of a public for the first time. I started expressing my passion for singing and for the stage by doing covers in English and in French. Then in 2001, I felt ready to spread my wings and I started creating my own material including lyrics and music. Writing, composing, performing, including dancing, and sharing my art with the world is for me the ideal way to give a meaning to my life : it makes me feel real, it makes me feel good inside, it makes me feel unique and magic. Through my creations, I am also enjoying the pleasure of communicating with people, transmitting my beliefs and delivering messages of hope, love and humour. I also had the unique opportunity to express and show my talent for dancing for different kind of events. As I was born in France and have my origins in Algeria, I’ve always had the chance to learn from and experience two different cultures, west and east: I consider this cultural diversity and richness as a great asset that I'm trying to exploit when making music and performing.
I am currently looking for great opportunities to showcase my talent as a songwriter-perfomer. I want to record more songs from my own material and I am looking for the right partners to work with.
