“Neverdie� (featuring the amazing vocals of Cheri London) is a dance track that straddles the line between more disco-influenced types of dance music and the more current, electronic-heavy dance style. Regardless of the type of dance music that gets you on the dance floor, Cheri’s vocals here will ensure that you get on the dance floor. The disc takes a 180 with “Runaway Track�, which is a 50’s rock type of track down to the snarl that is present in Jacobs’ vocals. While there may be hints of surf and lounge during this track, there is little inherent in this track that limits it to a specific time period. It is this timelessness that is cultivated through each of the 14 tracks on “No Rock uN Rolled�, and why this disc will sound just as vibrant and lively in 2028 as it did in 2008.

Cheri London
Born and raised in the musical capital of Memphis, Tennessee, Cheri London began singing Gospel with her family Choir at the age of eight. Throughout her youth, she won numerous Talent contests, establishing herself early on as a budding and passionate star. Obsessed with pop culture and drawing her inspiration from the likes of Tina Turner and Grace Jones, her musical ambitions drove her to the New York club scene where she became a much sought-after performer at the historic CBGBs, The Warehouse and the Tribecca Grand Club, amongst many others. A New York modeling agent discovered her exotic and distinguished looks in club land and subsequently contracted her to numerous national fashion shows. This period also saw Cheri become a Voice-Over Artist, recording for MTVs Making of the Band, as well as a national commercial campaign for McDonalds Im Lovin it!.
Yet Cheri remained true to her musical vision, becoming the principle member of the sultry all-girl group EYEZ, with a 2 year Publishing/Production contract with the world famous Producers Timbaland and Missy Eliot. Her power-house vocals coupled with her dynamic and memorable stage performance, insured a solo career thereafter, with regular live performances at the Miami celebrity hangout The Forge and the Los Angles Private Party. Three of her songs, co-written with the British Star Roisin Murphy (Moloko) were released by EMI Europe, are currently blazing their trail across the international club scene, spun by popular DJs and entertaining thousands of revelers worldwide.
When Im performing on stage and I see people dancing, losing themselves to joy, I feel completed, fulfilled, a believer in true happiness. Cheri London.
